Preventing Violent Extremism: The AMANI Project

An Invitation to Arts performances by Bristol Metropolitan College Students

Sul’Art has been working with students at the Bristol Metropolitan College on the AMANI Project (which means peace in Swahili), to help build bridges between people from Muslim and other community backgrounds and faiths in Bristol.

The activities aim to break down divisions and tackle extremist ideology through raising cultural awareness, to encourage a positive mental attitude among young people (Muslim and non-Muslim).

We would like to invite you to attend performances by students involved in the project on the following dates:

Wednesday July 1 at Bristol Metropolitan College from 2 - 3pm
Saturday July 4 at City Academy from 6 - 7.30pm

Please come and show your support for the students who have been working hard to bring positive change to our community.

Bristol Metropolitan College is in Snowdon Road, Fishponds, Bristol BS16 2HD. City Academy is in Russell Town Avenue, Redfield, Bristol BS5 9JH.
