Opportunities
Sul’Art offers a variety of activities.
Workshops in:
- Music: Drumming – Balafon (African xylophone) – Singing and other percussion
- String and fingerboard instruments, e.g. Mbira
- African dance
- Performing arts focused on composing, producing and performance of music
Workshops that can give you the opportunities to learn about:
- African-Caribbean rituals and traditions
- The organisation of social classes and generations of African Societies
- Rituals and celebration
- Musical instrument Making and playing
- Musical instrument repair and restoration work
Other services:
We also offer training such as CPD (Continuing Professional Development) that can help Workshop Leaders and other Art Practitioners to develop their teaching and performance skills.
These activities are linked with the curriculum covering different Keys Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4.
